SPI has great restaurants, water activities including jet skis, paddle boards, kiteboarding, windsurfing, snorkeling, bayside sunset dinner sailing cruises, surf and bay fishing, and dolphin watch cruises. There is an 18 hole golf course about 15 minutes away with available rental clubs. The kids and adults love the large educational Turtle Rescue Center as well as the World Birding Center. The Sapphire amenities include: -100 Yard Pool -Children's Pool -Expansive and Lush Landscaped Grounds -Fully Equipped Fitness Center -Full-service Day Spa -Game Room -Private Theater Room -Direct Beach Access with a Private Boardwalk South Padre Island is lined with restaurants, cafés, shops, and beachside restaurants/bars. Many locals and tourists enjoy wind surfing, fishing, dinner cruises and much more! The City of South Padre Island offers free metro transportation and Uber/Taxis are also available. Some people prefer to walk, rent a bike, or rent a golf cart to get around. Sapphire Policy ONLY during SPRING BREAK and HOLY WEEK: "At check in the concierge will ask for ID’s of all guests to confirm the renter and guests are a family living under the same household during their check in time. We will not allow check in if the renter does not meet these requirements. Family is considered only immediate (mother, father, daughter, son, and/or grandparents). July 2025 5.00Having a large patio on the 20th story with a private hot tub is amazing. Be aware that the upstairs neighbors can look down so don’t do anything you wouldn’t want them to see!

December 2024 5.00This was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay over the new year’s holiday. The balcony with the private hot tub really was the highlight of our stay. The amenity is at Sapphire are also unmatched. Communication was great and the unit was well stocked. 10 out of 10. We would definitely stay here again.

October 2024 5.00Pristine accommodations with a perfect location. The place is beautiful and clean, better than the pictures! Lots of privacy and amenities (e.g. spa, the huge patio has beautiful views of the bay and beach, the hot tub was clean and ready to go since arrival) and walking distance to entertainment and good food. From booking to check-out, Sylvia, Rey and Lori will made sure that everything was easy and efficient through proactive and fast communication.
