Beachside Life @ The Sapphire 505

We travel to SPI several times a year and have stayed at some outstanding places but this is by far the best place we have stayed. We loved the view of the beach and bay. The pool is perfect for relaxing or working out. The condo decor is lovely and the beds are super comfy. Instructions are timely and clear. We highly recommend this condo and can’t wait to go again!

Overall, great stay for our annual girls trip. Place was well cleaned and maintained. Beds were clean and cozy. Definitely would book again. Only downside was the pool area, no speakers are allowed for music. However next door hotel provided music and we could hear that. 😊

5th floor with a perfect view! Host was easy to communicate with and always gave a timely response anytime we had questions. Walk to the pool and ocean was well maintained, and host even provides a wagon making carrying supplies to the beach easier. Kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets you might need to make cooking a little easier. Host really does think of all the little things to make you feel at home. We enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyable

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the 505 Sapphire Resort. The property was beautiful, clean, and luxurious, with everything set up for comfort and relaxation. From the stylish design to the fun atmosphere, it really made for a memorable and enjoyable trip. Everything was top-notch, and we had a great time. The only small issue I noticed was the use of plastic plates, especially with recent studies highlighting concerns about PFAS exposure. It would be wonderful if the resort considered switching to glass or ceramic dishware in the future to match the otherwise high standard of luxury and health-conscious comfort. Overall, though, our experience was incredible, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and luxurious getaway.

Beautiful property, beautiful views

We had such a great stay at this condo! It was perfect for our family of five. The condo was spotless when we arrived, and the property even provided luggage racks, which made unpacking easy. The views of the beach were beautiful, and the hosts went above and beyond by supplying beach chairs and other beach essentials.When we reached out for extra towels and reported a minor bathroom issue, the hosts were incredibly responsive—they had everything resolved within just a few hours. Overall, this condo was very comfortable, well-equipped, and in a perfect location. We’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing place!

Very nice condo! Family had a great time.Suggestion: all bedrooms need to have a ceiling fan. The condo was a bit hot at night. Seemed like the thermostat was controlled by owners. The bedrooms that didn’t have ceiling fans were not comfortable. The rest of the condo enmities were great

Sylvia and Rey’s condo was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. They were so helpful about check-in instructions, local recommendations, and any questions we had. It was a great family meet-up and we had fun at the beach and beautiful pool. We would definitely return!

Condo was great! Everything was clean upon arrival and looked just as described in photos. Property was pristine and safe. Hosts provided great communication leading up to and during our stay. They were also quick to respond to my questions.

The host was very proactive on providing instructions for a seamless check-in and activities to consider. The property is very quiet and accommodating for swimming and beach time. The kids loved the Sapphire game room as well. We will definitely come back- loved the views from both balconies of the beach and the bay, the fireworks were impressive on Friday evening from the Bayside! Loved our vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at this beachfront condo. The location truly can’t be beat right on the beach and just over the SPI bridge. The condo was clean, spacious, and easily accommodated our group of five. We loved being able to walk directly out to the sand and also enjoyed the massive, well-maintained pool. Check-in and check-out with the front desk staff felt just like a hotel smooth, friendly, and professional. Security was strong, with required wristbands and staff always present, which made us feel safe and looked after. While key cards could demagnetize easily, the staff was quick to replace them without hassle. A big highlight for the kids (and adults) was the movie room and game room such a fun bonus! It’s a perfect spot for families looking to enjoy both the beach and pool.

Great place to stay very close to the beach

We had a wonderful vacation here in Padre and really enjoyed this condo. It had everything we needed and loved the amenities. We would stay in this condo again!

Muy buena opcion para ir en familia, las instalaciones excelentes y el ambiente muy tranquilo. Dentro de la suite se tiene todo de servicios, sin problema piede uno llevar su consumo y cocinar. Alberca del lugar excelente, acceso a la playa a pocos meteos y centros recreativos y de abastecimiento cercanos. Sin duda recomendara a mis amistades y de mis o modo me vuelvo a hospedar.

Very nice Condo, did not have any issues during our stay

A fabulous place to stay at during 4th of July for sure. Everything was close by and quick to get to, even with traffic. The views of the condo are amazing just like the pictures show. Definitely recommend this place for a lovely getaway.

We stayed here for my son’s birthday. The location was great and we had a lot of fun. The pool and hot tub was the cherry on top.

We stayed 6 wonderful days with 3 kids (11y, 9y and 9y). The view from the balcony is gorgeous, we were able to have some meals at the balcony facing the beach. The beach is kid friendly and clean and so is the swimming pool. My kids had a blast between the huge swimming pool and the wonderful beach ! Will definitely come back !!!

Great condo in SPI. Beautiful view, clean condo, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room for the family, and complementary beach gear. The condo had a full size gym, game room, big pool, and movie theater. Definitely take advantage of the extra perks.

The condo was wonderful and pristine. The only drawback was the icemaker did not work and the condominium complex does not have an icemaker.

We’ve been numerous times to south padre. This has been our favorite condo. I loved the double balconies and views to see the ocean but also the bay (and fireworks!) The condo had a ton of room. Communication from property managers was excellent.

This was our first visit to a South Padre and we loved it! The condo was clean, in a great location and the management of Sylvia and Rey was unmatched. We needed a bit of assistance with batteries and locating the wifi password and they were actually available to personally come over and provide assistance! Such a pleasant experience overall. Absolutely 5 star experience! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

We brought my parents and even they couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the view is, how clean and quite the condo is. I absolutely loved sleeping on the bed, so incredibly comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed. We also needed extra supplies, and they were there before we got back to the condo. We will definitely be going back to this exact condo. The pool was nice and relaxing. There is a kids room which we didn’t have the chance to use this time but definitely next time. This place is perfect!

This was our second year vacationing at the sapphire and it was wonderful! Large condo with plenty of room for our family of 6 and the beach wagon was extremely helpful! Grill on the back patio was nice to bbq. Wonderful space and hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely book again!

Sylvia and Rey’s place was amazing, 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms was very nice for six of us. They supplied a wagon and chairs which was very nice for the beach. We were able to rent floatings from Margaritaville. That was nice having options to go there as well. We preferred Sapphire but getting coffee and food at Margaritaville was very nice! We loved this place! It was hard to leave! The beach was amazing to walk morning and night. The jetties are pretty in the morning!The pools are very nice and clean! We had such a relaxing time in the pools that are designed beautifully! The condo is absolutely gorgeous!

Sylvia and Rey were super responsive. They would respond to my messages within 30 min. Would definitely go back and stay in the same unit!

We had a mini family vacation at south padre island to celebrate my son’s birthday. This property is beautiful, very clean and well managed. We had perfect access to the beach, and margaritaville. The amenities are very nice and convenient when you have kids under 10. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be booking this property for future trips to SPI. Thank you for everything!

One of better stays at an Air BNB I’ve experienced

Unit 505 is a beautiful, clean condo. The view is amazing. Sylvia and Rey communicated helpful information before and during our stay. They responded promptly when I reached out and were even able to accommodate an early check-in request. We all loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

The view and amenities in the building were perfect for the adults and the kids. We got our daily helping of the pool and hot tub, as well as several strolls down to the beach. The staff at the building were always helpful. And the location of this building is perfect. Away from the crowded and traffic section of the island, and we were able to walk down to the marina for the sunset fishing trips. Which were awesome. First time renting an Airbnb and extremely happy with our choice of rooms, location, and hosts. Thank you!

Condo was exactly as described in listing. Was a perfect setup for our family of 6. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious, and kitchen was well appointed. The views from both balconies was also fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This was a great place to stay. It felt like a high end Vegas style resort! Kitchen was well equipped compared to other airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Lots of amenities were available for use, including the game room and even a spa (extra charge). Pool and hot tub were beautiful and beach was easily accessible. All in all, a very great vacation was had by all!

This was by far the best place Ive stayed in south padre. Ive been to many places and this place was beautiful. I was like wow , when first walked in . Everything was so convienient from checking in to checking out. Very modern condo , love the furniture and decor. The view was amazing! So cool how it has 2 balconies . One facing the beach and one facing the main bridge. So awesome that you can use both pools . Can hang out at margaritaville resort as well and access to landshark restaurant. Margaritas were the best Ive had. Owners respond quickly . I recommend this place to all families its very big and spacious. 😍

The Sapphire Unit 505 was the perfect weekend getaway! It was a beautiful condo just like the photos with a lot of space and ocean and pool view! The 24hr front desk was friendly and helpful, and made the check in process seamless to kick off the weekend. There was plenty of onsite parking too which was an added perk. The unit was very clean and bright with natural lighting. The amenities both in the condo and in the complex provided for everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms and closets were spacious, and the washer/dryer appeared brand new! The fitness center, game room, theatre, spa, pool, and beach access gave us alot of options to keep us busy, and we definitely want to come back! Sylvia and Rey were quickly responsive and made us feel right at home. We had a restorative and fun weekend in sunny South Padre and can’t wait to visit again soon!

Excellent location and views! The home is very large and spacious, it was just my husband and I and we enjoyed everything it had to offer. The home is VERY clean and looks exactly like the photos. Its located on the 5th floor and high enough to see all of the lower grounds but not so high that you feel separated from what’s going on from others. We loved having two separate balconies. One faces east to enjoy sunrises and views of the outside pool area and the other balcony faces west to enjoy sunsets and to bbq a meal with the grill on the patio. It was our first time visiting SPI and first time staying at the Sapphire. The condos are very luxurious and have everything you need. If you get a chance enjoy a day at the Sapphire Spa. The staff is professional and accommodating. Adjacent to the Sapphire is the new margaritaville that just opened and we were able to enjoy admission to margartiaville and their grounds area. I’m glad we choose to stay here over others options.

My family & friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was super clean, perfectly decorated and so roomy and open! Definitely enough room for all 7 of us! It also had everything we needed in order to cook our meals. Also had beach towels and a wagon! Washer/dryer was especially convenient to have! Owners were extremely nice and helpful! We did not want to leave and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is very tastefully decorated and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the outdoor furniture and view. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots and pans, coffeemaker, toaster, bakeware, etc. We didn't cook, but you could if needed. The location is excellent. The staff were excellent as were the spa facilities. When the pool is ready , it will really enhance the experience,. We will definitely be returning!
